Pão de queijo/ Tapioco bread/sabudana bread recipe

What exactly is this recipe? So let me explain it to you this is a Brazilian bread recipe which is made with eggs, but I have replaced eggs and tried to create a vegetarian recipe. Tastes just amazing as we managed to recreate it in our house.

This Brazilian bread is made using tapioco flour, tapioco flour is available in mostly every kitchen. Baking this pao is very simple and quick to make. You can enjoy them with olive oil dip.

I have tried various breads but a Tapioco bread for first time, that to in my kitchen. So I am quite excited to put this up on the blog a complete different version of pão de queijo.   • 2 cups tapioco flour
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mixed herbs
  • 1/2 olive oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese for the dough 1/2 cup for toppings
  • Take a mixing bowl, add in the flour,herbs,yeast,oil,milk,cheese and salt
  • Mix this well a knead a dough
  • The dough will be a bit sticky
  • Take a muffin tray grease it, with the help of a scooper scoop out and place in the cups
  • Top some herbs and cheese on it
  • Or bake them in a loaf tin
  • Preheat the oven at 160°
  • Bake for 20 minutes and it’s done.
  • Enjoy it with some olive oil dip.

Meet this best-ever pizza sauce. This is rich and full of flavours. One will get the beautiful texture and colour with this recipe. Making pizza sauce at home is quite simple and easy. With few ingredients needed, one can make the best pizza sauce.

After trying this recipe, I don’t buy any more pizza sauce from the store. Pizza sauce is used as a topping on the pizza but also goes well with macaroni and pasta. When there is leftover sauce it goes into the pasta. Get to know the secret ingredient used for a spicy Indian twist.

With some tomatoes, onion and herbs this sauce is made. Store in the refrigerator and use as required.

  • 2 onion
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon garlic chopped
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Take a pan heat oil and butter
  • Add in chopped garlic saute for a few seconds then add in chopped onions, cook till translucent
  • Once done add in the tomatoes
  • Now add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, all the herbs, tomato sauce, black pepper powder and sugar. Cook for a few minutes.
  • Add water and boil for a few more seconds by covering with a lid
  • Off the flame and let it cool down completely
  • Grind to a fine paste
  • Pizza sauce is ready
  • Enjoy it on pizza or pasta

We all work hard in giving one’s family the best of healthy food, by making kids eat more of veggies or trying to convince them.

Veg au gratin is one such recipe which I love baking and my kids enjoy eating them….the main reason is the amount of cheese is added to the recipe, layered with white sauce n topped with mozzarella, cheddar cheese.

Very simple recipe, extremely easy to make, enjoy them with your favourite bread. Love the vibrant colour this recipe has.

  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup capsicum
  • 2 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste
  • 1 cup white sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder


  • Cut all the veggies
  • Take a pan pour olive oil and butter
  • Saute all the given veggies for 1 minute by adding garlic and salt
  • Take a baking dish grease it with olive oil
  • Layer the veggies, top it with white sauce by fully covering the veggies
  • Again layer another layer of veggies, pour the white sauce spread it evenly. Click here for the recipe White sauce
  • Sprinkle black pepper powder
  • Top with generous amount of mozzarella and cheddar cheese
  • By covering well
  • Sprinkle some olive oil
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or till the crust is brown
  • Serve it hot with garlic bread and enjoy.
